January Update!

It is 2024! wow, this year went by fast! So many things have changed during outreach, and we are learning what it looks like to have strength in flexibility and adaptability.

We are about halfway through outreach and have spent most of our time focused on getting involved in the local community, building relationships, and leaving a long-lasting impact within our primary ministry focuses.

evangelism and worshiping in Waikiki has been a blessing; so many people come to Honolulu and come for Waikiki's wide range of tourist attractions. Truly bringing the nations together in awe of our creator's beautiful work.

Working in Nanakuli has been a blessing as we have been able to see God's love moving through this country. spending time in Nanakuli has been an eye opener for its stark contrast of living conditions compared to North Shore and Honolulu. My team and I have enjoyed getting involved in ministry work in Nanakuli whether we are working with homeless youth centers or in the tent cities that stretch across the harbor.

Something that I have really noticed about some areas in Nanakuli is they feel like a grey zone. law enforcement is aware of the increasing number of people who are living in intense conditions and what struck me most was seeing how many infants and children are growing up in these “cities”. I still don't understand or have any practical ideas on how this cycle can be dispelled, but I believe God has a solution to these injustices.

I don't have much more of an update but I hope that by sharing what this outreach team has been doing can be an encouragement to anyone reading this newsletter. I also wanted to add that I have been publishing more detailed consistent posts on miasmoments.com Thank you so much for all of your support and motivation.
