Outreach Week Two

Week two of outreach has been remarkable! Our team spent a few days working around the base we have been staying at. We cleaned their property and did lots of yard work! Serving the staff staying here by taking their workload off was a wonderful way to contribute to the community! We were also able to help organize a boutique for a take-what-you-need cabinet. We spent time in Waikiki handing out lemonade, playing worship music, and praying for people. We also set up a table to “share with a stranger”! We met and poured life into people from around the world! Later, we went to the beach, cleaned the shoreline, and spent time with a local church!

We spent the night with a Samoan family to end the year on their homestead land! It was incredible, the family taught us Hoola, how to make Leis, and how to hand weave hats and bands too! They also made lots of traditional food, and we watched fireworks all night over Waikiki! The end of 2023 was exceptionally beautiful! I am so grateful for this time and experience with such a beautiful and welcoming family!
